Counselling Sessions
If you are seeking counselling support, I offer a complimentary 30 min session in which time we can discuss the difficulties you might be facing.
We can use this time to assess whether we will be able to build a therapeutic relationship in which we can work together.
I am experienced and able to deal with:
bereavement, anxiety, exam stress, trauma, infertility, self harm, mild eating difficulties, lack of confidence or self-esteem. Please get in touch if you would like an informal chat to discuss what I can offer.
Life is full off ups and downs.
Often the downs can last longer than the ups and feel overwhelming and lonely. I can offer a safe, confidential, space to help you explore your thoughts and feelings.
Do you feel isolated? Or perhaps you feel anxious or out of control? Maybe you simply need to be heard, valued and supported?
I can be the someone to stand by your side.
Having someone who will listen with empathy and be completely non-judgemental can be very healing during the darker moments. I have an interest in people and am a good listener. You can feel sure of coming away from my sessions feeling like you have been heard and valued. Overtime, you should experience a shift from where you began.
I have worked with a diverse range of adults as well as young people. Having spent many years as a primary school teacher and private tutor, I have been able to develop the ability to build quick rapport and trusting relationships with children and young people. My current position as a school counsellor in an independent secondary school has enabled me to extend my counselling experience to working with young people on a range of issues including; exam stress, friendship issues, relationships, self-harm, mild eating disorders, family issues, anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem and issues around LGBTQIA.
I also have extensive experience of counselling adults through bereavement, abuse, anxiety, family issues, trauma, infertility, self-esteem, illness, low mood and depression.
I believe in ‘stronger together.’ Together we can get through many things.
